Tips for Installing Wallcoverings

Each roll comes with hanging instructions; it's recommended to review these with your installer before starting the installation.

Ensure you have sufficient rolls for the task; inspect for any damages and verify they share the same batch reference.

Determine whether the wallcovering necessitates 'paste the paper,' 'paste the wall,' or is 'pre-pasted.'

Confirm the design orientation against the pattern book, as some rolls may have an inverted design, and ascertain if the paper requires 'reverse' hanging.

Ensure walls are adequately prepared before installation, such as being clean, sturdy, dry, and free of dust or moisture issues.

It's important to hang and examine no more than a single roll (equivalent to one or two drops) for defects before moving forward (any issues will be noticeable). If flawless, it's advisable for both the installer and client to approve this initial roll before advancing with the installation.

Any identified faults can be promptly addressed by the supplier, with full reimbursement provided; however, the supplier will not be held accountable for faults if more than one roll is hung.

Common manufacturing faults may include:

·         Variations in shading across the roll

·         Missing print elements

·         Paper mismatching due to faulty trimming

·         Color transfer

·         Uneven embossment of the paper
