Solar shows off the experience and artistry of one of Christian Fischbacher's long-time collaborators in Italy. The pattern is executed in a complicated clip-cord technique: the dots are woven into the organza base in linen and a shrink-yarn then the superfluous flotations are cut off. During the finishing process, the shrink-yarn contracts, the fabric is fixed and the three dimensional effect of Solar becomes permanent.
