Astragalus or milkvetch is found all over the Balearic Islands. Its pinnate leaves have inspired the embossed plant silhouettes which seem to be embroidered on the wallpaper. They represent the islands’ crafts and embroideries in Mallorcan stitch. The graceful astragalus comes to life on a linen base to create a textured, natural and timeless embroidery.
