Originally tasked with softening the newly constructed Chancery Green office space with a selection of rugs, the project soon expanded into a complete fit-out. The client enlisted the expertise of Donna Jones of Design Option to transform the stark black and white space into a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Inspired by the word ‘green’ – a favourite colour of Donna’s with a natural connection to the company – a palette of green and mustard emerged, highlighted with touches of black.
Zepel’s durable upholstery fabrics introduced a layer of tactility and surface interest to pieces of McGreals furniture, which were essential in crafting an inviting and functional workspace. “The range of fabrics chosen includes everything from the soft, smooth, velvety Deluxe to the textural Fontaine,” says Donna.
Furthermore, circular and rectangular patterned rugs from Baya Living reflect the colours present in the fabrics, and a carefully curated selection of artworks from the client’s personal collection enhance the space.
